History of the Romans: Every year

Roman history begins in 753 BC after it was founded by the first King of Rome, Romulus. This civilization would last for over two thousand years, constantly changing over its lifetime. I have listed some explanations to the things I have added in the video that people may be confused about below. Make sure to read them! Much thanks to Uncle Sam for helping me make this video! This is the history of the Romans and they were Romans regardless of them being part of the Empire anymore or not. In fact, one of the Roman Berber kingdoms even claimed the title of "Caesar" despite not being part of the Empire anymore. Odoacer/Ostrogoths: As of the time I uploaded this video, no one had ever shown Odoacer/Ostrogothic Italy as part of the Roman Empire. However, I will say that it still was part of the Empire, just autonomously. When Odoacer took over Italy he wasn't a foreign warlord conquering the peninsula and forming a barbarian kingdom. For one, Odoacer was a Roman-German that served in the military. He usurped the Roman throne and sent the imperial regalia to Constantinople stating there was no need for an emperor in the west, and that he would watch over it for Emperor Zeno. Meaning, he didnt rip Italy out of the Empire, he merely took over the province of Italia which remained part of the Empire even during the Ostrogothic period. The reason Justinian invaded Italy wasn't due to it being "lost lands". It was due to the usurping of the pro roman monarch in charge of the peninsula by anti roman goths that wanted to remove Italy from the empire. The Latin Empire shown as the Roman Empire: The "Latin Empire" is a term just as fake as the term "Byzantine Empire". It was the Medieval Roman Empire with a Latin dynasty installed by crusader armies. Nicaea, Trebizond, and Epirus rebelled as they viewed this as an obvious illegitimate dynasty. However, it was still the Roman Empire. This is similar to the Etruscans that installed their own king in Rome.
