Number eight is one of the trickiest holes on the front nine. The par 5 has a two part fairway. The first segment of the fairway is flanked by water all the way up the left side, and protected by bunkers on the right. It is essential your tee shot lands safely between these hazards. Longer players may opt to carry the water but run the risk of a wet ball or a shot from the rough. The green is protected by more water on the right, and bunkers long and left. If the pin is front or middle, ideal approach shots should be aimed short left as the hole will funnel shots into the front of the green.
