If you are travelling to New Zealand then you would be doing yourself a dis-service if you didn’t dive into the history of the Māori people, New Zealand’s first inhabitants. But where to start? Well, we read a few books, but it wasn’t until we arrived in Rotorua and met a bunch of kind local Māori, who were all too happy to share the history of their people that we properly began to understand the history of New Zealand. In this video we share with you some of the many things we learned from our amazing new Māori friends.
