we were staying i thetford forest and ozzy got bit by an adder, i thought at the time he was going to die right there and then. i hadnt realized he had been bitten, he just droped to the floor. i rushed back to vet and gave him something to help the swelling, no mention of adder..i took him back the next day because the swelling had got worse and he not eating, and a different vet said adder bite. no change in the treatement but an explanation...thankfully this all happened a while ago and he seems to all be well and back to himself, a scary time though for me and family, and i think a painful experience for him. fingers crossed..update 13-5-12 just had the final blood test back from the vet, and its all in the normal range.
