From Youth to Summer Games- Story of Grit and Persuasion | PRANNOY HS | Cheer for Champions- Ep.2

A silver medallist from the 2010 Youth Olympic Games, Prannoy has turned out to be every bit the player everyone expected him to be. In 2015, Prannoy reached the semi-finals of the Syed Modi International Grand Prix Gold Event. His displays saw him climb up the BWF Rankings to World No. 12. In 2016, a year where he was plagued by injury worries, he still won the Silver medal in the South Asian Federation Games and won the Swiss Open GP Gold title. Despite a constant string of injuries, he has made quite a reputation by defeating the best players. Prannoy won a bronze medal at the Badminton Asia Team Championships in 2020. After a slow 2021 season, Prannoy jumped back on the winning bandwagon by securing a win against Malaysia in the quarterfinals of the Thomas Cup 2022 to assure India's spot in the semi-finals and eventually bring us home a historic gold medal. He was conferred with the Arjuna Award at the National Sports Ceremony in 2022. He continued his good form by winning historic medals at the Asian Games and World Championship in 2023 and attained his career-high ranking of World No. 6.
