Learn Mandarin from a real Chinese preschool teacher. Kelly Laoshi is known for using her fun facial expressions, silly sounds and large body movements to engage her little viewers to effectively teach them. Inspired by Ms. Rachel, Kelly Laoshi guides your little one through babies’ first words with sign language as well as many fun nursery rhymes all in Chinese Mandarin. In this video: Lesson 1: Kelly Laoshi demonstrates how to say hi, plays peekaboo and to how to celebrate little wins by clapping. Lesson 2: Kelly Laoshi also teaches first words like mom (媽媽), dad (爸爸), and baby (寶貝). And introduces herself, Kelly Laoshi (老師). Lesson 3: Kelly Laoshi goes through words used during meal times such as like hungry (餓了), eat (吃東西), more (還要) and all done (吃飽了). As well as some early foods for babies like strawberries (草莓), banana (香蕉), apples (蘋果), eggs (蛋), and bread (麵包). Lesson 4: Kelly Laoshi continues meal time with thirsty (口渴) and adds in water, milk (牛奶) and juice (果汁). In between lessons, Kelly sings classic Chinese nursery rhymes like Two Tigers (兩隻老虎), Twinkle Twinkle (小星星), and Harvesting Carrots (拔蘿蔔). As well as classic American nursery rhymes that she’s translated into Chinese and put her own twist on them. Kid songs like: Wheels on the Bus, Bingo, and Itsy Bitsy Spider.
