Classic road & race cars a-plenty at the 2024 Oulton Park Gold Cup in today's video. While this is primarily a historic racing car meet, there are lots of car club displays, individual classic car displays and more to take in. This year also saw an interesting assortment of double-decker buses and tractors turn up for even more variety. As Old Classic Car is primarily about road vehicles, much of this upload concentrates on them, including a close look at the cars in the Gold Cup 2024 classic car auction area (run by Hampsons). I then head off for a walkaround of the paddock and pit areas which I always find fascinating. And because the Oulton Park Gold Cup features qualifying and racing throughout the long weekend, I've included a few clips of just some of the on-track highlights in 2024 to give a flavour of what you'll find at a typical Gold Cup meeting (Sunday was even busier I believe). I hope you find this one of interest, I know not everyone is keen on historic car racing so I've really focused on display cars and the classic car auctions in this one, in addition to paddock, pitlane and circuit scenes.
