NOTE: As of 8/31/24, the Sullivan County EMA has been notified by me, and am still waiting on a call back. EXTRA NOTE: I just learned that all of these sirens in in Bristol are on an automatic timer setup by a telephone relay system. So no DTMF's are never sent. After it hadn't gone off after five minutes and I stopped filming, the guy working at the library at the time had come out and talked to us about it. Apparently, it had gone off for the weekly test last saturday, but for some reason didn't this time. The rotator is also apparently broken, and there was a crew sent out to do something with the siren the week before last. They obviously didn't cut it off since it went off last week, but it only went off in a growl for 5 seconds, instead of the usual average 30 sec short alert. I don't think any of the others went off either. The rotator is so broken that; A very windy storm came through and rotated it. Then when it did its test, it rotated until it got back to its normal position, then ultimately stopped.
