When moving to a new state/new town it's difficult to know what the differences are in the areas, especially if they are named similarly! I'm diving in to uncover the differences between Indian Land, South Carolina and Indian Trail, North Carolina (aside from the fact they are in different states). One of the biggest differences is the location as it relates to the affluent areas of town. Indian Land sits over the border from three of the most affluent towns in Charlotte - Waxhaw, Marvin and Weddington. Along with the school ratings, the property values are far higher. Indian Trail is very spread out touching over 5 other towns in various areas.
