Erice is a historic town located in the clouds, 750 meters above Trapani, Sicily, on top of Mount Erice. The town is lined with cobblestone streets, castles from the Norman times, and ancient walls. If you spend enough time in Erice, you will inevitable be swarmed by cool clouds that mist past you with the wind. Erice is a beautiful place to visit and is only about a 20 min cable ride from Trapani Sicily. If you are wondering, a round trip ticket for the cable car is 9 euro, just make sure not to lose your ticket before taking the car back.
