In this episode, we should you how to knit what must be the worl’ds easiest sock! Follow this pattern and not only will you get a perfect heel, you’l also knit a sock that is 100% tailored to your own foot. We discuss knitting socks, with a particular focus on knitting the heel. We love to use colorful yarns for socks and also describe two different approaches to knitting the sock. One of us is knitting from the toe up, the other is does the opposite. We suggest using metal needles for better tension, bamboo or wood needles can be used if you find metal difficult. We explain how to increase stitches to shape the sock, with 16 stitches on each needle being suitable for a size 42 (approximately size 8 in American sizes).
