UCD's International Student Adviser Colum speaks about the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS), obtaining and Irish Residence Permit, using the online appointment booking system and about re-entry/multi-entry visas. All non-EEA students, on arrival at Dublin airport, meet with an immigration officer and have their passports stamped for up to three months. During these three months, each student must register with the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service (INIS) and obtain an Irish Residence Permit (IRP), to remain in Ireland.
