Our small block 1970 C10 Chevy shop truck is getting some love this week! With our motor and transmission installed and our bed and framing mounted, we can start our exhaust system. With our new GSI front subframe, we have to make some modifications to our headers before we start running our pipes to the back of this truck. Well... "some" may be an understatement. We're chopping our both of our shorty headers, creating about 100 new pieces out of them, and rearranging them to fit in our engine bay! It's a whole ton of work. And in hindsight, it would have been easier to just fabricate some long tube headers out of new material; but we got it done! With our headers created we can start running this exhaust to the back of the Chevy C10, and we have some Vibrant oval tubing to do that! We're even finishing this exhaust off with some vertical oval exhaust tips! We're stoked with how this exhaust turned out and we're one step closer to firing this truck up and driving it out of the shop doors!
