Blocking a Smocked From the Shoulder or Square Yoke Dress

Cutting our beautiful handstitched smocking is a scary thing to do but something that needs to be done when making a smocked from the shoulder dress, or a square yoke dress where the smocking goes into the armhole. In this video I show how to block the dress to minimize the shifting of the smocking. I also explain how to adapt the Lee pattern from Children's Corner to a smocked from the shoulder dress.
