Nature Dog Walk at George Washington Camp Grounds, Rhode Island

Great camping grounds with trails for those just passing through. Nice reservoir with a tiny beach. Trail is a bit of a challenge, with shifting elevations and tree roots to walk over. This was kind of the Found Footage video from my collection--recorded in June but forgotten until now. The main problem was the non-stop barrage of bugs (likely for that time of year). I swallowed a couple, but edited those scenes out to spare you the resulting gagging and spitting sounds. The trail was very well marked, yet I managed to have a brain fart and briefly went off-trail. Once back on-trail, the bugs proved too much, and I had to bail. Aside from that, the nature sounds were just okay, some birds and insects chimed in, but not often. For a fairly good walking challenge, I'd recommend this trail. But for a leisurely stroll with some nature eye-candy, you can find better. Though the tiny beach at the reservoir is cute, during peak times I'm sure it fills up quick. The multitude of campgrounds appeared well-maintained and very user-friendly, but I'm no expert to give a final determination on that aspect.
