During the early 90s big-budget action blockbusters were at their peak, stars like Stallone and Schwarzenegger were Hollywood royalty with their movies breaking box office records it was only a matter of time before us kids would get action figures of them, this was the 90's after all! A time when it was not unusual for children to be able to buy my action figures from movies such as Rambo, aliens, RoboCop, Demolition Man and predator! In an age when anything masculine is automatically associated with being toxic and action movies of this kind are becoming a dying breed, i take a look back at a simpler time, and look at the importance of these movies and action figures and how much we admired them growing up. I take a look at the Terminator 2 Kenner action figures, from the vehicles, car and motorbikes the future war series and the Terminator 2 universal Studios ride exclusives, as well as some toy Ireland releases and knock-offs from trendmaster and more!
