At the #parisolympics2024 , Qinwen Zheng made history by becoming not only the first Chinese athlete to win a #tennis single gold medal (male or female), but also the first Asian athlete to win this honor. As a non government-sponsored player, this incredible journey has been fraught with both financial and mental hardship for Queenwen, whose parents poured in huge resources to help her succeed, like many Asian parents would do.
