Cotton Pads & Dental Gauze Emergency Fire Starters

Hello Everyone and Welcome! In this video, it's a busy weekend and I don't have time to get out to the woods. I squeezed out a bit of time to make some new fire starters. I normally use cotton pads to make mine. After seeing so many people using dental gauze I decided to give them a try. They are much more compact so I should be able to carry more of them in the same size container. I'll be using my key chain ferro rod to light them. It may be a bit more difficult, but I want to see if the small rod will work in an Emergency. I will be comparing the burn time from pad to dental gauze and also testing for water resistance by soaking 1 of each in a container of water for approximately 10 Minutes.
