K40 Laser Engrave Cylinders without Rotary Attachment?

I am back with my K40 Laser project. Today i want to try if i could engrave logo´s onto cylindrical objects without the use of a rotary attachment. Sure having a 3rd axis installed gives you a perfect result but i want to know if it is possible to engrave with only the X and Y axis the K40 Laser came with. Also if you are interested into the K40 and the rotary attachment, this video should give you some great insights into the K40 Laser, the laserbed and depht of the machine. I try to engrave onto several diameters of tubes, engraving the same logo in 3 sizes to see at what point it starts to visually distort. All my gathered data can be downloaded for FREE on my webpage, for you as a guide. Sure i can´t guaranty that this table will work for you, but for me it does and it gives you some waypoints of engraving onto cylindrical objects without the use of the rotary axis.
