In this video I will show you how to measure R.F. Power using the Bird 43 In-Line Wattmeter with its Sampling Element. If you own a Bird 43 inline wattmeter or its Coaxial Dynamics clone, then this is a way to press that Sampling Element into service for measuring the power output of a transmitter. My motivation ... I didn't want to drop $$$ on another plugin element for a one time power measurement and I wanted to have confidence that I was getting as accurate of a power measurement as I could get.
