I remember being a bit uncomfortable at the unusual title of the song (THE YARDSTICK OF ADONAI) and I thought to myself "this is not my sound/style of music..." but I've come to understand that we sing what the Holyspirit requires of us per time. We sing as we hear him sing; in whatever style he chooses. A YARDSTICK is a measuring rod and Rev 11:1 came to my Spirit. A measuring rod to measure THE TEMPLE OF GOD (The Church), to measure THE ALTAR (the symbol of spiritual sacrifice acceptable to God through Christ Jesus), to measure THOSE WHO WORSHIP THERE (the WORSHIPPERS) This is not just a song. This is a message. This is a call to return to the Lord. This sound has one aim: That the FEAR OF THE LORD RETURNS! Returns to our hearts! Returns to his church! Returns to our affairs!! Watchword: HOLINESS and PURITY. It is time for this sound to be released. Put a reverential fear, a reverential honour for you in our hearts O Lord.
