About the artists: Anugrah Lakshmanan is a Carnatic musician, Origami craftsman, and trekking enthusiast rolled into one. He is a disciple of Smt Jayashree Aravind in both Carnatic vocal as well as Veena. He has had his education at Isha Samskriti, an alternate education system envisioned by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev. He is also training with Sri TM Krishna and Savita Narasimhan. Apart from music, he can live on a staple diet of dosas provided there is molaga podi to go with it. He loves going places with friends, but if he decides that he's had enough of socialising, he's likely to run either into a jungle, or up a mountain. An alumnus of Isha Samskriti, an alternate education system envisioned by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, He is training to play the Mridangam under Trivandrum R V Prasad and the Kanjira under Sri. Sundar Kumar. Apart from the hours he puts into practicing his art, he makes sure to give time to his other passion, video games.
