We know we keep mentioning how beautiful each city we visit is, but we can say this definitively: Athens gave us THE BEST view overlooking a city of the entire trip. Standing atop the Acropolis, staring out at the vast expanse of white buildings stretching to the bordering mountains, was one of the most awe-inspiring sights of our entire lives. Honestly, it might be THE most awe-inspiring sight, rivaled only by the location we visited the very next day: the Temple of Poseidon at Sounion.
