Finally, after what seems to be ages, we wrap up the Hasselblad versus Bronica comparison. Over the past year, we were plagued by gremlins, most of which still remain unexplained to this day. Whether it was inconsistent flash sync (with either the trigger or hard wired), rolls of film with no images (from both cameras), other than one roll that Larry had already captured several frames on before coming into the studio, one of our video cameras deciding not to stay focussed, or a used Hasselblad 503CW that had a mind of its own, we came to realize that this is just part of the joy of working with vintage cameras. In the end, both the Bronica SQ-B and the Hasselblad 500CM produced beautiful results. Larry has decided to keep the Bronica system, and I, the Hasselblad system. To this day, there is still something very special and enjoyable about creating with medium format film, and shooting in "square"! A special thanks to Veronica for her patience during several shoots, and to Larry for the processing and scanning of our Ilford Delta 100 B&W film on his Epson V850 scanner!
