SDG3, Good Health and Wellbeing, is the third goal out of The 17 Sustainable Development Goals as agreed in the year 2015. End preventable deaths, of newborns and, children under 5 years of age, with all countries, aiming to reduce neonatal mortality, to at least as low as, 12 per 1,000 live births, and under 5 mortality, to at least as low as, 25 per 1,000 live births. Let us ponder over, the seriousness of this issue, by a thought experiment: 1, Isn’t all the purpose of the development is improving the standard of living? 2. How unfortunate it is to have newborn and child mortality?
