EDF 6 M145 Let's Nuke What We Can run Inferno Air Raider ( Earth Defense Force 6 )

This is a very hard and messy mission, likely the second hardest mission in the game (update, not that hard). Although you have the help of 2 Armamento Bargas and 3 Proteus the number of enemies and spawns is huge and their variety means that choosing weapons that will work in all situations you'll need is very troublesome. 2K armor is a more sensible option than 1K. The AR can be randomly hit just by exiting the vehicle, and even 2K can disappear in less than a sec. Only a very conservative approach will make it possible to do these messy missions with very low armor, or they become just a lucky run. I do prefer to be in the middle of the action too whenever this is possible, much more fun 😊😋. Tempest is interesting in this mission but it's not a complete solution. It's great for the first Cyclops, the huge Deroy in the second wave and the oversized pylon in the last one. It can be used again in the first wave but it's dangerous as it's quite possible that the Armamento Bargas explosions will make the second hit problematic. If the Cyclops is too near a Barga use it on large androids in the back if possible. Anyway using Tempests is always really dangerous in messy missions once all hell is breaking loose, so don't do it, because they require simply too much guidance time to be useable by then and the chance of hitting an NPC Barga or Proteus is huge and they don't need more 400k+ in damage. It's the only weapon that can one-shot the huge pylon and avoid the spawning of the Queen Ant (and subsequent King Spider). The KM6 Z4 can down the first 2 tailed transports but it's not that easy to hit them. Check the video to see how it's done. The Z4 can also destroy the tailed transports in the last wave, but a lot of luck is needed to hit any of them due to how little time they're opened. KM6 Z4 and KM5 X5 are the most useful attacks for this mission besides the Tempest. AVOID hitting NPC Bargas and Proteus with KM6s... Using ground explosive bombers, Vestas or drones is dangerous due to the large chance to hit either the Bargas or Proteus. There are 2 NPC Armament Bargas at the start, which you should try to protect so that at least one is alive when the 3rd wave is spawned. 3 more NPC Proteus will show up during wave 2. You can't control them so you're in their hands, if they make a mess the mission likely will not be successful, so there's a LOT of luck involved in any run. Bargas particularly are many times dumb as bats and waste time chasing crap while they're trashed by all other enemies. Proteus never move once they reach their target position. The best backpack item here is the usual Guard/Capsule A4W. The best vehicle is the Nix Eiren iV, as its speed will be great and the particle cannon is awesome to down tailed transports. On the first wave try to use KM6s on Krakens and attack large androids with Nix so they don't trash the Bargas. On the second it's hard to destroy Deroys with the Nix particle cannon, try to use Z4 and X5 when possible on them. It's important to have Guard/Capsule A4W ready when one of the bees waves arrives, preferably the first as there's some chance it will last to the second. On both first and second waves stall with the last enemy to get a new Nyx and stay in a good place for the next wave and call Tempest in advance for it. On the third wave use Tempest on the oversized pylon, and due to this no giant enemies will spawn. Use Z4 and X5 to destroy the other 2 pylons. ASAP advance with a Nyx to destroy the 2 shielded pylons that drop Nakers. It's likely that during this phase all Barga and Proteus NPCs will be gone and most Ranger, Fencer and Wing Divers NPCs will also die. Get rid of most remaining ground enemies particularly Nakers and destroy Krakens when you have a chance. Last get rid of tailed pylons, they only drop one red fast android at a time, so they're the least problematic. One of the Ranger NPC squads, the Fencers and WDs have invincibility and they will respawn once there are no aggroed enemies on the map. Theoretically, you could leave the huge pylon and farm Queen Ants and King Spiders, but it is difficult to be viable unless it's online with a really good and coordinated team (update, wrong too).
