At up to $8,000, these are a pretty penny to purchase, so I'm glad I get to show this one off to y'all now. Here are the specs:  - 14x6.5" Shell - 10 Imperialstar-Style Lugs  - Diecast Hoops  - Rosewood Ply Construction  - Natural Oil Finish Tama is one of those brands I haven't had a ton of experience with. While my first intermediate drum set was a Tama Rockstar with fusion toms, and my first professional snare drum was a 14x8 Artwood maple model, I really haven't owned too many other drums from the brand! Since, I've had the pleasure of trying out beautiful vintage birch Superstar snares, Japanese Artwood snares, rare Heavy Birch snare drums and more. From this drum that AVH made famous to the 14x8 Superstar snare that Dave Grohl used across Nirvana records and performances, they make some great, great stuff, and I'm so pumped to continue digging into their catalog of products! I paired this snare drum with a 2018 Ludwig Downbeat Classic Maple kit that has had the bearing edges perfected by MKE Drum Co. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The kit includes a 20x14" bass drum, 12x8" tom, and a 14x14" floor tom.  I use all Turkish Cymbals in this video – 15" Millennium Hi Hats, 20" and 22" Meta Brilliant Crashes, and a 24" Prototype Dry Ride.  Some of the music I played drums to in this video comes from my drumless tracks, available at https://slouxrecordingco.bandcamp.com/ . Audio was captured with two Universal Audio Apollo x8p interfaces using 1073 preamp modeling.
