Statement of Need Our learners need the knowledge and strategies to assist in recognizing, evaluating and treating common and not so common problems presenting in a primary care setting, including when it is appropriate to refer. Objectives At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to: • Describe the common diagnostic criteria of eating disorders. • Discuss the practical and relevant guidelines to assist in approach to treatment of eating disorders. • Review the current state of resources in the city and state for treatment of eating disorders.
