Come with me on my unforgettable 30th birthday group trip to Curaçao! I planned my FIRST international group trip & it was amazing! We swam with sea turtles in the crystal-clear waters, chartered a private boat to Klein Curacao, and stayed at a luxurious 5-star resort. ☆ Resort: Sandals Royal Curacao (4.5/5) — This resort was BEAUTIFUL. This was my 2nd Sandals property and it blew Grenada out of the water. BUT, the food wasn’t as good as Grenada! We booked the Carisia Luxury room, garden view. Another reason why this resort did not get 5 STARS is because they’re not great at catering to large groups. There was a total of 10 of us & it was very difficult to book reservations at the restaurants that required them. We were told “No” too many times, but GOD made a way! ☆ Excursion: Island Tour (4.5/5) — I booked the tour on Viator based on the good reviews. Our tour guide, Lee, was good. He allowed us to choose how we wanted our excursion to go. We informed him of what we wanted to do & he made it happen. He also took very good pictures & videos of us. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because he drove VERY fast to the point where I told my husband that he needs to seriously tell him to slow down. Even though the van was air conditioned, it was still very warm. Link: https://www.viator.com/tours/Curacao/... ☆ BlueFinn Private Boat Charter (4/5) — Finding a private charter to Klein Curacao was very tough! This was the best I could do at a REASONABLE price. The boat was on time for pick-up and the staff was good. Booking was easy & the food was good. The only think I didn’t like was it came with liquor but the bottles were already opened & were just sitting in a sink with ice. (Ew).
