Welcome to Episode 3 of Beholder with a Brush! In this episode we will begin to paint the base of the "Huge Bookish Dragon" model by Wildspire Miniatures! For the Dirt and ground effects, I used a mixture of Muddy Brown (09028) and a "Sample" paint I received (Upon closed inspection the label under the sample label showed it to be intended as Radiation Burn (29115)). Then when I move onto the cobblestones around the base I used Mountain Stone (09433) and Tempest Grey (09438). Next week we will revisit the base and attempt to get the books and their covers to compliment the work so far on the base. At the end of the episode I showed a couple other minis and talked about the skin tone of my zombies. For the Skin tone I used a mixture of Rotstump Mud (29157 and Mint Green (09263).
