When it was first released almost a decade ago, it was the perfect pedal for the times - simple, beautiful, pedalboard-friendly, and decidely old-school without sounding too murky. Co-designed by Jeorge Tripps of Way Huge fame, it even had serious boutique cred. The times are a-changin', though, and so is the Carbon Copy. The MXR Carbon Copy Deluxe is the ultimate incarnation of this venerable echo, and it totally rules. Full expression pedal control, tap tempo, subdivisions, 1200 milliseconds of bucket-brigade delay, and all that jazz. We love it to death. In fact, we love it so much that we probably went a little overboard making the video demo. Check it out.
