This is one of the songs that, for me, will always be connected to my trip to Vancouver last Spring. I visited two of my dearest friends, who were on their world trip at that time. I remember the night very well. I wish both could've been there (one of them two didn't feel well that evening). So we stepped into the night and visited a karaoke bar. Some wild things happened, I tell you. I won't get it to that in detail, but it was hilarious! I usually don't drink. But on that night I got so wasted that I was actually brave enough to step on that stage and put on a performance. I can't even remember being nervous! I really didn't care at all :D Unlike the one time I sang in a bar somewhere in BC later that Canada trip. I shivered, I was sweating, my voice was shaky. But my friend kind of forced me: "We are not going to leave the bar unless you go out there, girl!" I was obviously so grateful in the end for the kick in the butt she gave me. So Turn Me On by Norah Jones was the song I chose in that karaoke bar the night in Vancouver. And I had so much fun standing on that stage and singing in front of a bunch of people. It was a damn vibe. And now here I am. Putting myself out there. I'm really proud of myself. I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed recording it :) Lots of Love, Lara
