One crazy 4th of July weekend brought together a whole bunch of my friends from New Orleans and Nashville together for a bunch of musical adventures. Here we have Casey Jane and Chris Acker (biggest of the growing boys), playing a Michael Hurley song at Langhorne Slim's house. We'd previously been shooting Langhorne's video with Josh Shoemaker (famous music video director), and Sean (Langhorne) invited us all over for pizza afterwards. Shoemaker helps run amazing audio while Ernie the dog helps the viral value of the video go up 1000x. That's Zach on the bass, who played bass on Chris Acker's last video we released. Casper Allen even makes a brief walk-by appearance. Yes folks, this is a star studded fun-time. I know a few of y'all have shouted out Michael Hurley as a possible songwriter to look out for.. well, this isn't quite him, but we're getting closer. I'll have to check him out, and you should too.
