Star Wars CCG Legacy Decks 6: Hoth AT ATs & Hoth Speeders

When I first got back into the game around 2014, the virtual card pool was in the process of being reset, which I wasn’t aware of, just browsing online through the cards. It wasn’t until a few months later that my friend and I realized that “Set 0” and “Set 1” were basically starting the virtual pool over. We, however, had barely scratched the surface of the old generation of virtual cards, and weren’t really interested in going to tournaments yet. What we ended up with was a format that included any of the older virtual cards* AND any of the new** ones. It was the wild west for sure. Did I mention that we didn’t play with Defensive Shields? Nowadays, we mostly play the modern format that is official for tournaments sanctioned by the SWCCG Players’ Committee. These decks will probably eventually get remade if something in them becomes viable in the current game, but as of the making of the videos they still make their way into a game now and then. Many of them, especially those that rely on retrieval or controlling exclusively space or ground, are not viable now that we have cut them down to 59 cards and use shields, but each has something nostalgic at the very least.
