Jeep Comms! Yaesu FTM-300D Ham Radio Install

Today I go over the installation of my Yaesu FTM300D Amateur Radio. I show some of the tricks I learned and maybe I can help with ideas for deciding what radio to go with, or where to mount your existing radio. Make sure to use a good SWR Meter! Off-road communications is essential for group or individual travel. Pick your poison, GMRS, HAM, CB, all have their advantages. I personally chose to go with HAM because of the versatility that comes with amateur radio. It can be used as a hobby, for emergency services, for preparedness, or for off-road communication. I do also have a CB but I already use the HAM more than the CB. Comparing the two, the HAM radio has a much clearer sound and a much longer range.
