Panther VS Super Pershing | Armour Piercing Simulation

This simulation shows the impact of a 7.5cm PzGr. 39 being fired from a German Panther G tank at a range of 0.3KM, targeting the turret side of a US T26E4 tank. The tank battle at Cologne Cathedral, although brief, is perhaps the most famous of all time. However, the panther didn't shoot at the Super Pershing for some reason in this battle, also a different variant of T26 was operating. The front of T26E4 Super Pershing turret attached with a portion of the destroyed Panther tanks 80mm thick frontal glacis plate modified for use on the turret mantlet forming a sort of spaced armour. Although the 80mm plate prevented a full penetration and protected the ammo as we can see, the shrapnel is enough to kill the crew in the turret.
