Next up is the EX level Windy Way, which combines assets from both Ragazza Plains and the Sky Albatross, including lots of wind over tiny jumps. Reaching the end results in a very painful looking scene, and we get the Cyclops Eye, which is the equivalent to Soma Cruz's Peeping Eye soul ability. After that, it's time to head to the Oil Refinery. Ah yes, the Oil Refinery, everyone's least favorite stage 9and strangely the one lot's of people try first, myself and Mew included). Water physics, squids who got nerfed and are still annoying, and plenty of rude (not mean or evil, just rude) enemy placements. I like the retracting spike gimmick later in the level, though. At the end we find Pacifica the mermaid, who is a rather active and random bugger. Nothing too difficult though, with out upgrades. She gives us the Mermaid Anchor, which is basically a WAY more powerful uppercut, doing the same damage as the Treasure Chest. Basically, if you get yourself in the middle of a big boss's hitbox and spam it, they go down REALLY quickly.
