If anything, we're more than likely getting this in Tour through the annual Yoshi Tour they always tend to do. The original version from Mario Kart Tour was added to the game in April 4th., 2023. This course is a complete love letter to Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island for the SNES (and GBA under the name Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island, but that's a topic for another time). From the music to the sound effects and the aesthetic, everything pays tribute to a beloved classic.
