I also got to experience a slice of wild camping Europe as we made use of a few of the allocated wild camping areas along the TDMB, along with free campsites, paid campsites and a hotel stay. The trail is 105 miles long and has a total elevation higher than Everest! I can assure you, it was no walk in the park, but the views of the Alps and Mont Blanc were simply stunning! Totally worth the blood, sweat and tears. Tour du Mont Blanc camping was fantastic, we got to pitch in some truly beautiful locations and had the most wonderful experiences along the way.
