Part 3: Gluing Collage Materials

This video takes you through how to glue collage materials into your paintings, and is the final in a 3-part series on collage. I encourage you to watch Part 1: Using Collage in Acrylic Painting, and Part 2: Creating Collage Materials before watching this one so that you’ll have good grounding in using collage. If you enjoyed the video, please leave a like and subscribe to my channel. Here's a link to a general supply list of materials Jacqui likes to use: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GDuR... Materials: Rice paper: there are many kinds of rice paper available at art stores and online Deli paper: the kind I use is Dixie All Purpose Food Wrap. It’s available online for about $16 plus tax and shipping. Golden (brand) Matte Medium: I prefer matte medium rather than gloss, but either will work to adhere paper or fabric to your substrate. Watch out: Golden Fluid Matte Medium is thinner (more fluid). I don’t use this (usually). I prefer Golden Matte Medium. Other brands are fine, too, and may be less expensive. Rubber Tipped Tools: West Colour Shaper (I like the 1 ½” Firm Flat) or Princeton Catalyst (This has an angled tip. I like the 04 mini). You can use these to paint with, too.
