[4K] Air Race at Drayton Manor, join us as we strap into a plane and soar into the sky and fly, swoop, and plunge at heart-pounding speed, not for the faint-hearted! The Air Race Ride at Drayton Manor Resort, which opened in 2014, is an Air Race Flat Ride manufactured by Zamperla. Each plane takes you on its own adrenaline-pumping loops, a full 360-degree spectacle that defies gravity, sending you upside down and hurtling toward the ground. Your surroundings will spin and tilt, the world turning into a thrilling blur as you chase the plane ahead. Air Race is located in the Adventure Cove area at Drayton Manor next to Maelstrum and Wave Swinger. Adventure Cove is located on the right just after the entrance to Drayton Manor, opposite the Thomas Land entrance. Adventure Cove is a nautical-themed zone that opened in 2021 and features rides and attractions including Shockwave, Stormforce 10, River Rapids, Wave Swinger, Maelstrom, and Air Race as well as shops, a play area called Tidal Towers and cafes. Adventure Cove was created when the coaster G-Force, the only X-Car coaster in the UK at the time was removed due to what Drayton Manor described as high maintenance costs.
