Mumbai to Lonavala Cycle Ride | GCC | Monsoon Cycle Ride

Mumbai to Lonavala cycle ride with GCC. This monsoon cycle ride was a memorable experience for all of us because of the rains, technical difficulties we faced during the cycling ride to Lonavala, and the beautiful weather. A total of 13 cyclists started from Ghatkopar at 5:30am even though it was raining heavily in short bursts. After getting 3 punctures within half an hour, few riders were left behind and were 1.5 hours behind the group. All of them rode together, covered the distance slowly and steadily, and climbed the Bhor Ghat without getting too tired. Many of them were climbing the Khandala ghat for the first time. Everyone reached Lonavala together and the group which went ahead was waiting for the remaining people for almost 2 hours at the top. Everyone had lunch together and left together from Lonavala at 4:00pm. We faced delightful tailwinds on the return journey, a little bit of traffic, and a lot of rain. Everyone reached back together to Mumbai at 9:00pm and was welcomed by Rahul Vala bhai with some hot juice.
