Walmart Shoplifting Duo Busted After Self-Checkout Scam Fails

Walmart’s asset protection team & Deputies observed a mom & daughter switching price tags on various items through self-checkout aswell as concealing some items. As the two were about to walk out of the store, deputies stepped in and separated the two for questioning. When speaking to the mom, she was visibly nervous and tried to throw what would later be discovered as meth away in front of the deputies. The woman confessed to switching price tags and stealing items. The daughter said she was aware of what her mum was doing but she said she had no involvement in her actions. Walmart's asset team then saw the daughter putting something in her pocket, when they confronted her about it, she brought it out of her pocket and said she stole for her daughter. She was also found confiscating something else when a search was done on her. This is the body-cam footage of the events that followed. #news #police #arrest
