I'll review this Gemini200 BA Concorde in 10 categories. It comes with Gemini’s standard black box packaging, with a void to let you have a glimpse of what’s inside. The transparent cover is very neat and safe. I'll give a 9 for packaging. This model comes with a standard display stand and a set of removable landing gear. It also has a retractable tail bumper and a nose-up visor. It looks extremely cool on the display stand. The landing gear door covers fit the holes perfectly. You can tilt the nose down with the built-in retracted visor inside. You can also tilt the nose to the nose-up cruising position. The windscreen can sit in like this. It can firmly stay in these two positions. Inflight200’s and ADR’s Concorde models cannot adjust the nose. So, this Gemini model is far superior to its competitors’. I'll give accessories a 10 out of 10. This Gemini mould is remarkable. The iconic features of the Concorde from nose to tail are close to perfect. Its long nose, slender body, long and sharp tail are very close to the real thing. The asymmetrical fairings on both sides of the vertical stabilizer are correctly made. The shape of the blended delta wing is very realistic. It even successfully made the flat edge on both sides of the forehead. So, I'll give the mould a 10. These pairs of Rolls Royce Olympus engines are very finely made. The air in-takes are very detailed. The engine correctly breaks down into several sections. The nozzle mountings are finely made. And the reverser buckets are adjustable. I’ll give a 9. The build of this model is very good. All angles and positions are correct. I think the gap at the delta wing attachment is acceptable. I'll give a 9 for build. It's very easy to put on the landing gear. But the nose gear leg and the portside main gear leg are poorly made. You see, the nose gear leg is not vertical at all. And the portside main gear does not align and can’t stand vertically. The tail bumper does not align either. These 3 gears look pretty awkward. So, I can only give a 6 for the undercarriage. All the major antennas and doors are accurately depicted. Concorde has a lot of strakes on the fuselage. And this model has successfully recreated them. Yet, there’s no beacon lights and landing lights on the fuselage. I'll give details an 8. BA’s Concordes carry a very simple and clean livery when compared to its subsonic fleet. This is mainly because complicated painting is not allowed on supersonic planes due to the extreme temperature during flight. So, the gradient effect on the Speedbird ribbon and the Union Jack tail is rather simple. This model has a very good reproduction of the livery. So, I'll give a 9. The painting of this model is exceptionally good. The white colour applied looks very sharp and shiny. And the very few gradient effects look good. I’ll give a 9. Gemini has been releasing BA’s Concorde fleet one by one in recent years. So, the chance to get one is very high even if you missed the released editions. This edition is G-BOAA. It’s less popular than the other historic plane G-BOAC. So, I’ll give an 8. I’ll give a total of 87 points in my ARAIG Index. #unboxing #britishairways #concorde #gemini200
