If you've been here for the last several episodes then you know I said that I wasn't planning on watching this movie BUT then I saw a trailer that claimed that this is the GREATEST DREAMWORKS MOVIE EVER. I immediately bought tickets because Dreamworks made How to Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda which are (imo) THE greatest Dreamworks movies ever. In this video we're gonna get into it. I'm gonna talk about why The Wild Robot might be the greatest Dreamworks movie ever made. This movie is incredibly moving, AS A MOTHER OF ONE DOG this movie is so emotional (we don't need to get into how I cried three times). The visuals are breathtaking, blending a hand-painted style that feels like a work of art and straight out of a storybook. The score by Kris Bowers is stunning and elevates the emotional beats of the story perfectly. And of course, the voice acting is phenomenal (Especially from Lupita Nyong'o, Pedro Pascal and Kit Connor). We’ll talk about the film’s themes of family, adaptation, and the impact of technology on nature, and explore why The Wild Robot might be the best DreamWorks movie in years.
