Montrose is a neighborhood in Houston that has a lot of hip and artistic culture. It's known as "the Heart of Houston" and it's located near the midtown and downtown areas of Houston. Montrose is a square shaped area that encompasses many places, including art museums like the Menil Collection and Rothko Chapel. Westheimer Street is one of the most popular and notable strips along the neighborhood, with tattoo shops, restaurants, bars and eclectic shopping. The area of Montrose featured in this view is Fairview Street, which also has a lot of restaurants, including Fusion Eats, Chucharit, Barnaby's Cafe, Chuchara, Elro, and La Mexicana. Dive bars in the area include Catbirds and Lola's Depot.
