Sure there are other platforms to buy vintage, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, Instagram, even Poshmark has some nowadays. However, this week, I tried buying vintage patterns on Mercari. I bought 200 vintage patterns from one really terrible photo and one sentence to describe them. Did I win big? Or did I lose my shirt (even though I can make a new one)?
