Este rádio é muito similar aos antigos modelos Cobra 25 LTD/29 LTD. A placa principal é montada com componentes convencionais, enquanto que a placa do painel é toda elaborada com componentes miniaturizados (SMD). Jamais instale o equipamento ligado diretamente à bateria, a não ser que use fusível de proteção adequado e uma chave corta-corrente. Possui apenas 40 canais com modulação por amplitude de sinal (AM), e a transmissão é de 4 watts. Painel com 4 cores disponíveis e selecionáveis, através de um "menu" de configurações.
