Nintendo Switch Dock Teardown

I disassemble the Nintendo Switch dock to see what makes it tick. After I completely disassemble it I show how to reassemble it without breaking anything. This Nintendo Switch dock is pretty simple. It's made of a large plastic piece to slide the handheld console into and inside of the dock is a small motherboard with output connectors for the TV. On the pcb board inside the dock there are several processing chips to process the signal and transfer it from the handheld Switch console to your TV. The one major noticeable flaw in the dock is that it has hard plastic where you slide the handheld console into...this can end up scratching the plastic screen of the console.
