Polaris Ranger 900 Starter Replacement. Will it Start?

Welcome to Kountry Roads Channel. Come along while I change a starter on a 2014 Polaris Ranger 900 EFI. This starter was still working but turning over to slow to start the engine. Time for a new starter let's dive in! Park the Polaris Ranger on a flat and stable surface. Turn off the ignition and remove the key from the switch. Locate the starter motor. On most Polaris Ranger models, it is located on the center rear of the engine and is attached to the engine cases. Disconnect the battery cables from the battery to prevent any electrical shocks or accidental engine starts. Remove the electrical connections from the starter motor. There should be two wires connected to the starter: one larger wire and one smaller wire. Remove them both by loosening the nuts with a wrench or socket. Remove the bolts or screws that secure the starter motor to the engine or transmission housing using a socket wrench. Keep the bolts or screws in a safe place. Remove the old starter motor from the Polaris Ranger by gently pulling it away from the engine housing. Install the new starter motor by positioning it in place and securing it with the bolts or screws removed earlier. Reconnect the electrical connections to the starter motor in the same manner as they were removed earlier. The larger wire should be connected to the larger terminal on the starter and the smaller wire to the smaller terminal. Reconnect the battery cable to the battery. Test the new starter motor by turning the ignition key to the "start" position. The engine should crank and start up smoothly. That's it! Your Polaris Ranger should now have a new starter motor installed and ready to go.
